WHAT ARE YOUR GIANTS?
I have to once again borrow the book and chapter that was discussed in bible study last night. In Numbers 13, the Lord instructed Moses to send out men to explore the land of Canaan. ONLY ONE came back with an encouraging report: Caleb wanted to go right away and take over the land. The other men complained about how powerful the people were, even claiming that there were giants there. Caleb ended up being the ONLY ONE of those men to enter into the land of Canaan. What are your giants? Some of us have giants that we are afraid of as well. Is your giant poverty? Is it sickness? Is it a lack of faith? David also had a giant to deal with in the form of Goliath. Because of his trust in the Lord, he defeated his giant with a mere sling shot. We have to remember that little becomes much when we place it in the Master's hand!!!!!!!! There is no giant too big for God!!!!!!!! Like Caleb and David, trust and believe that God will conquer your giants and lead you to victory!!!!!!!!

WHAT IS IT ALL FOR?
I went to a new bible study last night. It was awesome!!!! The speaker talked about when God puts you in a position of influence. Sometimes we can get it twisted that it's all about us. We let the fame, fortune or whatever swell our heads too much. Why do you want God to make you famous? Have you ever thought about that question? If God places you out in the forefront, what will really become of it? Is it about just being seen or will you reach out to help others? God doesn't raise you up to sit on what you got!!!! He wants you to be a blessing to other people!!!! Decide for yourself!!!! What is it all for????

THE LEGACY WE LEAVE
I will never forget the first time reading Maya Angelou's "I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings" in junior high school. That was her life story, one of tragedy and triumph. From being abused to speaking at inaugurations, Maya left a powerful legacy. What about us? What legacy are we leaving? Don't let your trials and tribulations destroy what God has placed in you. Like Maya, you can use your trials as a footstool to greatness. Release the strength that is within you.
