BEAMING LIGHTS

Pro 15:30(KJV) The light of the eyes rejoiceth the heart: and a good report maketh the bones fat. Pro 15:30(NLT) A cheerful look brings joy to the heart; good news makes for good health. In honor of Women's History Month, I want women everywhere to understand their true worth. Proverbs 31 truly explains the heart of REAL women. We can be housewives, business owners, etc.; we can be whatever God has it set for us to do. Understand that there are SEASONS to everything; so you need to do these things at the RIGHT time (not on your time). We are the BREATH AND THE ATMOSPHERE of our surroundings. Wherever we go we should, as a whole, brighten someone's day and not cast darkness. There's something about a woman and her gift to shine. Don't take it lightly, ladies. Take care and God bless.

BLACK HISTORY IS ALL AROUND US

As I look around, I see Black History everywhere. I see it when I take a seat on the bus (in the front, of course). I see it when I eat in a restaurant (not a colored sign to be found). I see it when I look at my college diploma. I see it when I cast my vote on Election Day. I see it when I look at pictures of those who paved the way before me. I think of the Memphis Sanitation Strike of 1968, where the workers on protest held I AM A MAN signs. Something so simple, but poignant to remember!!!! We are men and women that matter in this world!!!! BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY, WE ARE MEN AND WOMEN IN CHRIST JESUS!!!! Never overlook the history that surrounds you!!!!

YOU HAVE IT BECAUSE GOD HAS PLACED IT IN YOU ALREADY. YOU JUST HAVE TO TRUST IN GOD THAT HE WILL USE WHAT HE HAS PLACED IN YOU FOR HIS GLORY. THEN, AND ONLY THEN, YOU WILL ENTER INTO THAT NEW PLACE. HAVE A BLESSED NEW YEAR!!!!
