THE COMFORT OF GOD

2 Corinthians 1:3-4 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. In this new season, one word comes to mind: COMFORT. We want comfort food, we get comfort items to keep us warm and whatever have you. But do you know the True Comforter? As we go through hard times, God is there to comfort us every step of the way. We are to comfort our brothers and sisters in Christ in their time of need as well. So before getting the mac & cheese or that cozy blanket, go to the Father first. He will comfort you like no other!!!!

Hebrews 12:1-2 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. With almost half of the year gone, IT'S TIME TO TAKE INVENTORY!!!! What have you accomplished so far? What have been your setbacks? Don't hold onto the past any longer because it's serving no purpose in your future!!!! The Bible says that your best days are ahead of you!!!! Don't get off track--keep focused on what God has for you to do in this season.

KNOW YOUR WORTH

Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you (Matthew 7:6). You are God's masterpiece. Don't allow others to treat you with disrespect. If you're around people that can't see the fullness of you, then it's time to make some new friends. Proverbs 27:17 equals friends building each other up to iron sharpening iron. Anyone that constantly puts you down is NOT a friend. People will not know your worth if you don't know.
